At Conwest Contracting, health and safety remains a top priority. We maximize safety initiatives to ensure safe construction sites, which helps keep our people, and your places, free of harm.
Conwest is aligned with the following health and safety initiatives:
- Member of the BC Construction Safety Alliance and COR ™ Certified
- Committed to working with WorkSafeBC.
- We have an active in-house Safety team.
Each of these initiatives ensures we maintain the highest level of health and safety standards, protecting both our team and our partners.
The Conwest Safety Team
The Conwest Safety team consists of an Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Committee and a full-time Construction Safety Officer. We have defined protocols for all orientations, inspections, safety meetings, incident reporting & tracking, and hazard assessments.
Confined Space & Deep Excavations
We understand the additional challenges associated with confined space and deep excavations, and our team has the skills and training to execute both successfully. Additionally, we are able to operate as the Prime Contractor on site during these projects, further maximizing health and safety protocols.
